This document outlines the policy. 1. Clear The average person to whom these essays are of interest should be able to determine what is advocated and what is eschewed. Any point with a large probability of misinterpretation should have specific clarification. 2. Current My current beliefs should be reflected accurately by these essays. 3. Relevant I should have specific knowledge of cases in which the advocated techniques led to success, and in which alternatives have led to failure. Those cases should not have been rendered inapplicable by intervening technology advancements or contrary evidence. 4. Plausible Plausibility arguments should be offered to the effect that the presented view is true in general or in the vast majority of cases. However, rigorous support of those arguments will not be attempted. 5. Consistent Cases in which these ideas are brought in conflict with one another should be rare. 6. Defensible Likely counter-arguments should be anticipated and addressed. 7. Reproducible If the source is not HTML, then the source format is published alongside the HTML. 8.
